Support afaq

afaq is a dear friend, extraordinary poet, visual artist and activist living in Philadelphia. Since early 2019 they have been experiencing debilitating illness. afaq was diagnosed with a heart condition & blood disorder that has resulted in multiple hospital stays, visits and tests. In addition to their illness, navigating the healthcare system as a Black immigrant has also been draining and traumatizing. We're raising funds to repair afaq's motorized wheelchair, help them move into an accessible apartment and pay for emergency medical expenses. All additional funds raised will be given to Afaq so that they can focus on their health and happiness. Thank you for supporting afaq!
